Privacy Statement

Except as described in this privacy statement Constructor Technology Ltd does not sell, rent, loan, trade, lease or give any personal information collected at our websites (including e-mail addresses) to third parties except to authorised staff and employers.

1. The types and use of information

a) Registration information

If you wish to register for any of the services provided by the Constructor Technology Ltd group of websites, such as ‘jobs by e-mail’, you will need to provide us with your name and e-mail address. We may use your personal data to occasionally contact you and provide you with information which we think may be of interest to you. If at anytime you wish to stop the delivery of such information please email naming the Constructor Technology Job Site you have been using. If you elect to use our jobs by e-mail service, we will send you information regarding job vacancies that we think match your job search specifications.

b) Curriculum vitae

You may wish to submit your curriculum vitae to us for storage on our server for two reasons. i) For your convenience, if you intend to use the same curriculum vitae to apply for more than one job. ii) To include your CV on our searchable database as a significant aid to finding employment. Note that the searchable database will only access CVs on our server if you have expressly requested this service. If you chose to store your CV on the website.co.uk server, and do not expressly request to be added to our searchable database, then only you and any employers you apply to will have access to your CV. If you request to be added to our searchable database then any potential employers or organisations who have been granted access by Constructor Technology Ltd can see your CV.

c) IP address

Every computer connected to the internet can be uniquely identified by its IP address. Users connecting to the internet through an Internet Service Provider will automatically have a set of identifying numbers assigned to their computer whenever they connect to the world wide web. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, enhance our services and to administer our website. Your IP address is also used to gather broad demographic information.

d) Tracking website usage

We may track your use of our website on an anonymous basis. We use this data to effectively manage and maintain the services we provide on the website.

e) Demographic and profile data

We gather information about all our users collectively to generate website demographic and profile data, which does not contain material attributable to any individual user. We share this information with advertisers on an anonymous and aggregate basis only.

2. Amending your details or opting out

This site gives users the option to remove their information from our database, change and modifying their information, opt-out of the ‘jobs by e-mail’ service and remove their CVs from our searchable database. This can be done at anytime by visiting the website.

3. Use of cookies

Cookies are small data files placed on your computer’s hard drive by website administrators to enhance your access to the services provided (such as storing login information) and remembering user preferences (such as recording user selected items). We use cookies on the Constructor Technology Ltd website to speed your access to our website, to remember any ‘hot jobs’ you have selected and to enhance the service we provide. You have the option of setting your browser to reject cookies should you so wish. However, to do so will hinder website accessibility and performance. Alternatively cookies may be cleared after each visit to our website by clicking the ‘log out/clear cookies’ hyperlink. This procedure is recommended if you share a computer with other people. You will then have to input your username and password on the next visit.

4. Site security

Constructor Technology Ltd websites have security systems designed to protect the information under our control against loss, damage and unauthorised access. Access to the website is gained by supplying an e-mail address and password. You must ensure that this information is kept secret. If other people are likely to use the PC that you have used to log onto this website, we recommend that you log out after each visit by clicking the ‘logout / clear cookies’ hyperlink.

5. Child protection

We do not knowingly collect information about children.

6. Policy changes

We reserve the right to change this privacy statement at anytime by posting the revised policy on this web site. Information will be handled according to the privacy statement posted on the website at the time the information is used.
