Terms & Conditions

1. Provision of Job Seeker Services
CV Storage Service
1.1 Job Seekers can store their CVs on our server. We provide two options for the storage of CVs. i) If you chose to store your CV on the Constructor Technology Ltd server, and do not expressly request to be added to our searchable database, then only you and any employers you apply to will have access to your CV. This Service is for your convenience, if you intend to use the same CV to apply for more than one job. ii) If you request to be added to our searchable database, any potential employers or organisations who have been granted access by Constructor Technology Ltd can see your CV. This Service may be a significant aid to finding employment.
1.2 CVs will be held on our database for up to 730 days. During the period you will receive an e-mail requesting that you update your CV on the database. Details of how to do this will be in the e-mail. If you choose not to update your CV it will be removed from the database.
1.3 There are no fees or charges for the use of our Job Seeker Services.
Job Seekers' Obligations
1.4 In applying to any job, you warrant that you are a genuine candidate interested in being appointed to the position in question.
1.5 By using the Job Seeker Services, you warrant that you are not a representative of a company attempting to solicit business.
1.6 By submitting your CV to our searchable database, you warrant that information it contains is accurate, complete and true.
2. Governing the provision of the Client Services
2.1 The provision of the Services by Constructor Technologies Limited, and our obligations and those of the Client during the Service Period are governed by the Conditions set out here, along with the Advertiser Information Document and any Contract or other written agreement.
2.2 It is not permitted for companies to use our Services for the purpose of soliciting business.
2.3 We have the right, at our discretion, to refuse or remove any Advertisement without obligation to give a reason.
2.4 Constructor Technology Ltd reserves the right to make changes to the Services. Any alterations to the Services will be published in the Terms and Conditions or Advertiser Information Document and will take effect from the start of the next Service Period, unless it is in the interest of security or other statutory requirement, whereupon the changes will take immediate effect.
3. Provision of Client Services
Job Slot Vacancy Advertisements
3.1 Job Slot Vacancy Advertisements will remain active on the website and available to the Job Seeker through the search facility on the Constructor Technology Ltd home/search page for a Service Period of 28 days.
3.2 Job Slot Vacancy Advertisements will be sent out via the Jobs by E-mail Service, if relevant and where appropriate, within the first week of the Vacancy being posted on the Constructor Technology Ltd website.
3.3 We will endeavor to post Job Slot Vacancy Advertisements submitted via the form on the Constructor Technology Ltd advertise page within 48 hours (not including Sundays) of our receiving the vacancy details.
3.4 The Client shall provide to us Advertisements in the format specified in the Constructor Technology Ltd Advertising Information Document.
3.5 Job Slot Advertisements must not contain references to the Client's website unless previously agreed by us.
3.6 Job Slot Advertisements may only contain details of a single job vacancy.
Home Page and Feature Page Advertisements
3.7 Home Page Advertisements and Feature Page Advertisements are advertising packages available for a Service Period of 28 days.
3.8 Home Page Advertisements and Feature Page Advertisements are advertising packages that have an Artwork Banner on the Constructor Technology Ltd home/search page or the featured employers page respectively. The Artwork Banner will have a hyperlink to the Client Profile.
3.9 Home Page Advertisements and Feature Page Advertisements require the supply of the appropriate digital artwork to the format and standards specified in the Advertiser Information Document. To ensure that the formatting of the artwork conforms to our standard, we reserve the right to make minor alterations without charge. The Client will be notified if minor alterations are made to their artwork. If major alterations are required we offer a service to modify the Client's artwork for a Fee calculated at the rate of £45 Sterling per hour. If major alterations are required to the Client artwork, the Client will be informed of the modification requirement before any alterations are carried out.
3.10 We do not guarantee the number of hits an Artwork Banner will achieve during the Service Period.
3.11 We do not guarantee the position of an Artwork Banner on the web page.
3.12 The Client must ensure that they have copies of all materials supplied to us. We do not accept liability for the loss of any materials supplied to us.
Client Profile
3.13 The Client Profile is a Service that is available for a Service Period of 28 days. The Client Profile has a hyperlink to a complete listing of the Client's Job Slot Vacancies. The Fees for this Service are specified in the Advertiser Information Document.
CV Services
3.14 The Client shall have access to CVs received by us, which have been expressly requested by the Job Seeker to be added the Constructor Technology Ltd searchable database, through our online search facility.
3.15 We do not guarantee the minimum number of new CVs available at any given time.
3.16 The Client warrants that the use of all CVs supplied by Constructor Technology Ltd are for the sole purpose of evaluating the suitability of a Job Seeker for a known vacancy with the Client or the End Client. Beyond this use, or any other purpose agreed by the Job Seeker, and us, CVs and all other information supplied by Constructor Technology Ltd or the Job Seeker shall be kept confidential.
3.17 The Client must ensure that it is notified as a data controller to the Office of the Information Commissioner under the Data Protection Act 1998. The Client shall comply in all respects with all statutes, rules, regulations, codes of practice and legal requirements in respect of its receipt and processing of CVs and related materials.
3.18 The Client shall obtain the express consent of a Job Seeker prior to submitting his or her CV to any End Client.
3.19 The Client shall not copy, distribute, resell, submit, supply or make available in anyway CVs or other information received from Constructor Technology Ltd to any third party other than a genuine End Client.
3.20 Clients shall not use automatic extraction software to facilitate extraction of CVs from the Constructor Technology Ltd database.
3.21 In the event that Constructor Technology Ltd has reason to believe that the use of its CV database or the use of any CVs supplied by us are being abused by the Client, we reserve the right to immediately terminate the Client's access to any or all of our Services.
4. Client's Obligations
4.1 It is the responsibility of the Client submitting Advertisements, and any other materials for inclusion on this website, to ensure that all materials submitted are legal, decent, honest, accurate, complete and truthful.
4.2 The Client warrants that the Advertisement does not contain any data, image or other materials that are likely to cause detriment of any kind.
5. Liability
5.1 The Client agrees to indemnify Constructor Technology Ltd in respect of all claims, costs, damages, expenses, liabilities or other charges falling upon Constructor Technology Ltd as a result of legal action or the threat of legal action arising from the publication of any material provided by the Client or by the Client's use of information on CVs provided by Constructor Technology Ltd.
5.2 Constructor Technology Ltd will not be liable for any loss of copy, artwork, photographs, data or other materials that the Client supplies.
5.3 Constructor Technology Ltd does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage arising from any mistakes or errors in the replication of an Advertisement or materials supplied by the Client.
6. Payment Provisions
6.1 We reserve the right to increase our Fees for the Services we provide. Any increase in Fees will be published in the Advertiser Information Document and will take effect from the start of the next Service Period. All existing customers will be informed of the changes.
6.2 By using a Credit Card method of payment, fees with respect to the Services offered by Constructor Technology Ltd will be made before the Service provision commences.
6.3 Clients that have accounts with us, and opt to pay through a Credit Account facility, will be billed at the start of the Service Period. Payment is due within 30 days of receipt of the invoice. Invoices will be sent by e-mail, except by special arrangement.
6.4 Clients can opt to pay for a regular Service package by standing order. Payment will be due every 28 days, to coincide with the end of the Service Period. VAT receipts will be sent by e-mail, except by special arrangement.
7. Cancellation
7.1 Cancellation of a Service by either the client or by Constructor Technology Ltd will result in immediate cessation of the Service, and the full amount of any sums owing to Constructor Technology Ltd by the Client in respect of the Service shall become payable with immediate effect.
7.2 No refunds can be given on services already set up.
